There are a lot of thermal insulation materials around us, according to the use of different occasions for classification, such as common including roof thermal insulation materials or external wall thermal insulation materials, that today focuses on the classification of external wall fire insulation materials and specific classification.
With the rapid development of modern architecture, we have increasingly high requirements on the performance of the external wall. We need to study and innovate new composite plate skills with good insulation effect, excellent combustion performance, green environmental protection, and the price can be accepted by everyone.
Our national standard GB8624-97 divides the combustion performance of building materials into the following grades:
1. A class: non-combustible building materials: almost no burning materials.
2. B1: inflammable building materials: inflammable materials have a good flame retardant effect. It is difficult to catch fire in the air in the presence of open flame or under the action of high temperature, not easy to spread quickly, and when the fire source is removed, the combustion will stop immediately.
3. B2 level: combustible building materials: combustible materials have a certain flame retardant effect. In the air in the presence of open fire or under the action of high temperature will immediately fire combustion, easy to lead to the spread of fire, such as wooden posts, wooden frame, wooden beams, wooden stairs, etc.
4. B3: inflammable building materials: no flame retardant effect, easy to burn, great fire risk.
External wall insulation materials are divided according to the fire rating:
1. combustion performance for A grade of insulation materials: rock wool, glass wool, foam glass, foam ceramic, foam cement, closed perlite, etc.
2. combustion performance for B1 grade insulation materials: after special treatment of extruded polystyrene board (XPS)/ after special treatment of polyurethane (PU), phenolic, rubber powder polystyrene particles, etc.
3. combustion performance of B2 grade insulation materials: molded polystyrene board (EPS), extruded polystyrene board (XPS), polyurethane (PU), polyethylene (PE), etc.
